How to use the word unscrambler

Enter the letters you have and select Build Words. BiblioBuilder checks the current lexicon for words that can be built from those letters. Longer matches appear first.

Using blank tiles

Use a question mark or asterisk for each unknown tile. A blank can stand in for one missing letter, which is useful when you are working with wildcard tiles or incomplete puzzle information.

Narrowing the list

The advanced filters let you require a beginning, ending, included letter, or minimum word length. These filters are most useful after an initial broad search.

Example

If you enter listen, an exact anagram search can reveal rearrangements that use all six letters, while the general unscrambler can also surface shorter words that can be built from the same set.

About the word list

This downloadable starter uses a compact demonstration lexicon rather than an official Scrabble, Words With Friends, or tournament dictionary. Always verify tournament legality against the rules and official word list for the game you are playing.
